Desert Dubs Volkswagen club and Wheelz that heal teamed up. All funds raised from this will go to benefiting the Phoenix Childrens hospital. Our goal is to help get awarness out to help this foundation and its cause by changing the lifes of children with natural medication.  

Founded in 2013 by a group of dedicated automotive enthusiasts, Wheelz That Heal is transforming the lives of children through our unique fundraising approach. Spearheaded by Scott Bindley and supported by automotive aficionados nationwide, our organization is a beacon of hope for the Phoenix Children’s Hospital, turning car sales into life-altering funds.

By obtaining donated or highly discounted vehicles from individuals, dealers and collectors, our network of sponsors restores them to better-than-new condition and every penny from their sales is donated to the Integrative Medicine Department at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital. To date, we have donated nearly $1.2 million and are making a tangible difference in children’s lives.

At Desert Dubs show 3/29/25 we will be showing the vehicle off. Raffle tickets will be available to purchase.  Stay tuned

What started as an on-off vehicle donation in 2013 by local screenwriter/producer and philanthropist Scott Bindley, Wheelz That Heal has grown into an organization supported by hundreds of generous individuals that will impact countless patients and staff members at PCH. Given the vibrant automotive community in the Valley, the potential for support of Wheelz That Heal is limitless. As we move into our second decade, we could not be more excited about our drive toward health to support Integrative Medicine at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

In 2024 Chris Davern (Desert Dubs Volkswagen Club) and Scott Bindley (Founder) got the idea of building a Volkswagen Beetle. They teamed up with the guys @ Desert Dubs Volkswagen club to challenge a build. They found a 1967 Volkswagen Type 1 Beetle and wanted to restore it as a group, donate it and help raise money for the foundation.
